Yakima Valley System of Care is a framework for organizing and coordinating community services and resources that recognizes the importance of family, school and community support. YVSOC's goal is to help individuals and families who need services or supports from multiple human service agencies to be safe and successful at home, in school, at work and in the community. The initiative seeks to promote the full potential of every child and youth by addressing their physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and social needs. Yakima Valley System of Care builds on individual and community strengths, and make the most of existing resources to help people in our Yakima Valley communities live successful lives.
